The HR Project Manager will support a number of key HR initiatives across a number of countries in the North Africa, Levant & Central Asia (NALCA) Sub Cluster.

The role is based in the NALCA Sub-Cluster and is responsible for supporting the CHROs, as well as working in partnership with the MEA HR Business Execution team to deliver on Country, Sub-Cluster, Cluster and Global HR projects. Whilst the role primarily supports HR projects in NALCA, the individual may be also asked to partner with other Project Managers on initiatives spanning the MEA franchise.

The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to influence others and build effective partnerships and internal networks. The candidate needs to be articulate, be very organized with high attention to detail and an ability to prioritize, be a highly-proactive, inquisitive and resourceful self-starter who can work autonomously where required but equally as part of a team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to maintain strong relationships as the individual will be required to work with multiple stakeholders across other Functions, including Finance, Risk, ICRM, MEA Business Execution.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

  • Partnering with the Sub-Cluster CHROs and Business Execution Teams to help prioritize and drive execution of key initiatives.
  • Working autonomously on key operational pillars including financials, budgets, reporting & analytics, crisis management, operational resiliency.
  • Driving process simplification and continuous improvement throughout our extended HR team.
  • Leading strategic data insights and analytics initiatives to drive decision-making. Embed the use of data and insights to build organizational capability, guide decisions and develop solutions.
  • Be able to successfully manage a large multi-faceted project or multiple projects at the same time.
  • Owning project goals leveraging expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team.
  • Applying a proactive approach in routinely tracking the project participant progress against project goals.
  • Proactively following escalation and change control processes.
  • Helping prepare communications materials including presentations for the NALCA CHROs when required.

Experience, Skills and Capabilities:

  • A good understanding of the NALCA franchise and awareness of the Sub-Cluster, Cluster and Global HR priorities and overall HR strategy.
  • Credibility to work with and influence within a team of diverse skill sets and cultures.
  • Strong PPT and communication skills.
  • Articulate, attention to detail
  • Financially fluent and able to handle and engage stakeholders on budgets / expenses and plan numbers.
  • Can demonstrate program management capabilities, and ability to drive complex projects with multiple stakeholders to completion, working effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Broad understanding of the Risk and Controls environment and some experience in operational resiliency / crisis management efforts.
  • Highly organized with an ability to prioritize and able to learn quickly assimilating a lot of information across many diverse topics.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness/ability to pick up work quickly when/where needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
