Responsibilities

The Data Transformation Execution Lead is a leadership position in Citi’s Chief Data Office (CDO) within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization. The mandate of COO is to lead the Transformation efforts of the firm to deliver client excellence, improved operating efficiency and returns.

As part of COO, the CDO organization is responsible for an enterprise-wide effort to transform and strengthen the firm’s data, modernize data infrastructure while simplifying the data operating model and executing the strategic priorities for the firm. The CDO defines and enforces data-related policies and standards across Citi and equips the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with designated commitment owners to act as the translation layer between execution lens and impact lens.
Provide independent challenge and assessment of the outcome against completion success criteria and updates into the Quarterly Progress Report and Path to Target State.
Identify alignment and dependency across the Consent Order commitments and facilitate collaboration where feasible.
Provide support and oversight of key Data Transformation programs and initiatives as Subject Matter Expert in data policies and transformation commitments.
Define appropriate level of oversight to monitor and report on the effectiveness of Data Concern and Issue Remediation process.
Provide input and update into management and data governance forums.
Monitor commitment closure and outcome of interim validation; facilitate remediation where necessary.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related area
Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels
Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail
Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them
Working knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance and Data Compliance within large, financial services firms
Proficient with MS Office, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$156,160.00 - $234,240.00
