About Our Team:

As the Head of Digital Identity Product Management, you will manage multiple product manager teams through other managers leading digital products for Identity Management, Digital Onboarding and Digital Fraud Prevention for US Personal Banking. This role requires a good understanding of the industry and direct competitors' products and services to contribute to the commercial objectives of the US Personal Banking business. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Responsible for executing functional strategy for Digital Identity management including end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of Digital Personal Banking. Additionally, responsible for multiple teams, including management of people, budget, and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. Typically, a direct report to a Managing Director or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns long-term strategic view (3-5 years) and complete platform portfolio within his / her category / division.

  • Owns development and communicates the long-term vision and goals that drive the working backwards strategies for a portfolio of platform products.

  • Owns business and platform requirements for a large enterprise or portfolio of platform products

  • Builds strong partnership with the business stakeholders to help drive strategic direction and investment decisions.

  • Understands domain and competitive landscape; may lead company-wide decision making for the platform product domain

  • Owns and inspires a culture of “test and learn” experimentation and innovation to solve core business and end customer needs in the platform product domain

  • Leverages customer research, feedback, competitive analysis and industry trends to drive investment choices that will cultivate long-term innovation for the business and customer.

  • Owns the organizational planning and serves as the representative to Executives

  • Compiles content for periodic Exec level communications, reviews and updates

  • Continuously monitors the KPIs of portfolio and reviews regularly with technology peers and business partners

  • Creates a comprehensive user experience for an entire customer domain using various design thinking techniques

  • Develops method for prioritization and triage of new changes and defects for team to apply, makes key decisions on showstoppers and end product quality

  • Ensure team culture consistently demonstrates alignment with leadership principles; visibly ties department decisions to leadership principles

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in a product line management, e-commerce, and/or strategic planning role.

  • Significant experience building complex business and/or transactional models.

  • Has thrived and succeeded in delivering high quality technology products / services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.

  • Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

  • First-class leadership and influencing skills, including experience managing a Product Management Team

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and talent management skills, including the ability to identify and develop product management talent.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University Degree

  • Master’s Degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
