About Our Team:

Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) provides the critical technical foundation for Citi’s operations and is responsible for delivering reliable IT solutions, scalable infrastructure services, and secure capabilities while creating a trusted customer experience and enabling Citi’s workforce to be the best for our clients. The IT Project Senior Manager (ITPSM) provides leadership and vision to develop and implement programs that further the capabilities of the Program Management Office (PMO). 

The person  manages a team.  The Officer supervises PMO professional development and PM tools.  This person is a change agent for the broader PMO organization.  The successful candidate leads curriculum development and/or process enhancements for the organization.  Leadership, communication and managing are also part of this role.

The objective of the ITPSM is to ensure that project management training and tools are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and provide direction to organizational leaders on methods to improve capabilities
  • Develop curriculum for a virtual organization
  • Responsible for communicating PMO policies across the organization
  • Leverage, promote, and communicate PM best practices across the organization
  • Leads a team to administer and configure project management system
  • Ensures system upgrades are tested and working properly
  • Manage and enable team members to achieve organizational objectives
  • Prepare, support and help individuals/teams drive organizational change
  • Liaison with Organizational Project Management Office
  • Prioritize and juggle multiple deliverables
  • Monitor development programs and PM tools -- identify areas of improvement and future training needs
  • Other duties as required

Focuses on the long-term good of the change; able to clearly explain the effects of changes, supports others who are experiencing difficulty of the change. Handles complexity
  • Team (People) Leadership: Experience in leading virtual teams ensuring all members stay connected, motivated and productive through the establishment of common purpose, goals, roles and structure. Provides resources/support to remove obstacles to team accomplishments.
  • Execution Excellence: Gets involved in organizational objectives that has many actions and uncompromising time frames. Follows through on commitments and takes ownership to ensure that others follow


Qualifications:

  • 6 plus years experience in a related technology role with commensurate people management experience


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience,
