The Supervision team sits within Markets and Securities Services, working alongside Trading and Sales businesses and various functions including Legal, Compliance, Finance and O&T to identify, mobilize and execute the Supervisory Controls required to response to regulatory driven requirements and reform across business lines, products and entities.

This role is to assist with the delivery of Supervisory Controls across Markets, this includes assisting with CAP remediation, oversight and project management of the book of work across Uno and Athena, liaising closely with Conduct Risk Management and 1LOD/2LOD transaction monitoring and trade surveillance to ensure adequate and timely controls delivered to Supervisors. In addition the hire will play a key role in helping to shape the supervisory framework and governance, including the newly created Supervisory committee, and helping with the production of related supervisory MI and control testing.


Responsibilities:

  • Play a lead role in assisting with the design, implementation of enhancements to the Supervisory framework & platform

  • Communicate with key business counterparts to understand requirements and gain acceptance to Markets wide approaches and plans for changes to Supervisory principles and framework

  • Management of the successful delivery of change in line with overall programme objectives and timescales

  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address known gaps and deficiencies in an effective and timely manner

  • Provide input to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the overall risk management framework

  • Assist across multiple areas of the Fraud Risk Management program for the region, including: Working with stakeholders to identify and document key fraud laws rules and regulations, policies and standards, business procedures, systems and controls. Assist in the updates and maintenance of Markets Fraud Management Program (FRMP) document, work with key stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Operations Risk Management) to respond to potential fraud events

  • Ensure activities are consistent with Citi risk frameworks, policies, and programs and risk appetite framework.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls

  • Front office/Markets controls or track record of working in a control environment

  • Supporting or being part of a front office/markets business management team

  • Cross product markets product knowledge

  • Working on large change programs

  • Managing both project deliveries alongside BAU activities

  • Successful delivery of change requiring stakeholder engagement and coordination

  • Proactively driving continuous improvement of existing processes or controls

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
