Citibank, N.A. seeks a Trader for its New York, NY location.

DUTIES: Model, price and execute interest rate derivative transactions. Perform pricing and modelling of the credit risk adjustment charges. Actively engage in sales to present trade ideas and new solutions. Construct bespoke rates and FX derivative or financing solutions tailored to sales needs. Coordinate with sales and risk managing the rates portfolio. Develop further from trading the cover of both corporate clients and institutional investors in Americas. Possess a strong understanding of product knowledge, legal agreements for both derivative and financing transactions, accounting treatment, governing regulations, and capital requirements for the bank. Execute liquidity metrics for the bank and other related fields. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Financial Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Generating trade ideas through quantitative analysis, forecast, and simulation in macro markets utilizing programming, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques; Creating and maintaining automated processes for generating trade alerts, signals, risk reports, and performance attribution reports leveraging technical skills in Linux, Python and SQL; Utilizing modern portfolio theory and optimization techniques to create a framework for assessing risks of trading books, and optimizing capital usage and risk weighted assets to enhance the trade-off between revenue opportunity and risk taking; Identifying potential trading opportunities and sound solutions to the customer base in order to add value to the sales force; Utilizing Montecarlo simulation to perform model credit and funding value adjustments, generate potential future exposure for interest rate swaps and cross-currency swaps, calculate credit value, and fund value adjustments; and Performing data analysis, data management, risk assessment and global macro understanding. 40 hrs./wk.
